This will join the first two games and PlayStation VR2 spin-off Horizon: Call of the Mountain as major video game entries in the franchise. While not officially announced, a full-blown sequel to Horizon Forbidden West is also seemingly in the works. “Building this all out to a multiplayer experience is a whole new challenge for the studio,” added van Beek, sharing the team’s excitement on developing the project. Instead of Aloy, the game will feature a cast of new characters and a new art style, though not much else is known.
